Preschool

Our curriculum is based on the age developmental levels of children. We study carefully what 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds are capable of learning and doing. We believe in protecting the child from the narrow regimen of reading and writing that exists in most pre-schools in India.   Equally, we decry the consumerism today, making products, mostly chemical, readily available to little children under the name of modernization or globalization. Over the 25 years of our existence, we have built up our own curriculum of how to make all kinds of different children love learning through art, play (work), performance, and planned preparation for their subjects of study. From birth to the age of eight, the child is in the most formative period of life. Foundations of future learning have to be laid. At the same time, we must respect what the child is capable of at that very age. Because of the importance of these years, and the amazing capacities of little children to learn and develop, pre-school can be called our most challenging and important section of the school.
