Our philosophy at Southpoint is that excellent education should be available to all children, regardless of the family’s educational and economic background.
Parents who would like to apply for a scholarship for their child must fill out a Financial Aid Form. After this form is reviewed by our committee, a counsellor will plan a Home Visit with the family. After this, the committee will take a decision about whether the child is eligible for an award, and which level of scholarship may be awarded.
For the protection of the child, we keep this financial information of the family confidential. Apart from the admissions counsellor, school managers, and director, no one has access to the file on the child’s economic background, including teachers. We request parents not to compare information with each other, or share information on scholarships with the child unless recommended by the school.
