Vidyashram-The Southpoint is a modern school with liberal education of global standards. It is open to all, with financial assistance available according to need. Our philosophy is that there should be an understanding of family and community backgrounds, but that all children must be treated as one,and that all children can learn together. At the heart of our efforts lies integration.
We believe that children can learn to appreciate their traditions and culture while being part of a quickly progressing world, and therefore, also provide state-of-the-art facilities and training in skills that are truly global. We value local skills and crafts highly, and weave them into the activities of our school. We want a society of explorers and pioneers, not one of followers, of scientists and artists, not deskmen.
